? Overall responsibility for the day-to-day LOCAL GAAP accounting
? Make sure all local accounting principles are communicated
? Be a partner for the AP department for resolving issues
? Supplies amounts out of T&E reports to be taxed to HR on a monthly basis (if applicable)
? Performs Statutory Accounting on a local system in alignment with local tax & legal rules (if applicable) or performs statutory accounting on Oracle (if applicable)
? Assists in preparation of statutory and income tax reporting
? Prepares or coordinates with local agency the timely filing and/or audit of the statutory and tax accounts
? Coordinate the external audits and tax reviews
? Prepares obligatory local statistical office reporting and National Bank reporting (if applicable)
? Prepares tax declarations/payments (VAT, WHT ,others) (if applicable)
? Provides support to the local GMBA and local staff for accounting and general finance matters
? Ensure local adherence to applicable Finance related PXL policies
? Has working knowledge of key SOX controls, Sunshine Act and The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and adheres to these
? Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner
Qualifications
Solid accounting educational background
Excellent local language and good English skills
At least 4-year-relevant experience in accounting
Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of Oracle financials and/or Local Accounting System is a plus.
